Paul Budnitz
Paul Budnitz is an American artist, designer, and entrepreneur. He is well known as the founder & CEO of Superplastic, the world’s premiere creator of art toys & accessories. He is also the founder of Budnitz Bicycles, the luxury city bicycle brand, and is co-founder of social network Ello. In 2002 Budnitz created the designer toy brand Kidrobot, which he sold in 2012.
Budnitz is the author of several books, has founded over a dozen companies, and lectures on creativity worldwide. A dozen of Budnitz’ designs are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
Dunny is a type of vinyl designer toy created by Paul Budnitz and Tristan Eaton, and produced by Kidrobot since 2004.
The toy is based on a rabbit figure with distinctive tubular ears. The origin of the name Dunny came from a combination of street slang and one of the early „Devil Bunny“ prototypes. The Dunny is sold in 3-, 8- and 20-inch scales, though through collaborations artists have customized Dunny models as tall as four feet. The toy has three points of articulation; a 360-degree rotational head and two arms. Artist cards or stickers are also included, mainly with the annual series releases.

Gary Baseman (born September 27, 1960) is an American contemporary artist who works in various creative fields, including illustration, fine art, toy design, and animation. He is the creator of the Emmy-winning ABC/Disney cartoon series, Teacher’s Pet, and the artistic designer of Cranium, a popular award-winning board game. Baseman’s aesthetic combines iconic pop art images, pre-and post-war vintage motifs, cross-cultural mythology and literary and psychological archetypes. He is noted for his playful, devious and cleverly named creatures, which recur throughout his body of work.
